A deep thread reduced shank wood screw that features a Round Washer Head, a torx drive, and a type 17 chip cavity (also called an Auger Point) that is 30% to 50% longer than usual at its tip. The deeper threads allow for higher pullout resistance, the torx drive, also called a star drive, provides for high cam out resistance, and the long Type 17 point allows for easier chip evacuation, which is especially useful in denser woods where more material needs to be displaced. The round washer head provides a larger bearing surface than pan head or countersunk screws, which allows it to pull objects together with superior force.
