A deep thread reduced shank wood screw that features a larger head than usual that makes it ideal for fitting drawer slides and hinge plates in situations where pre-drilled holes may run large. It also contains a type 17 chip cavity at the tip of the screw, also called an auger point. The Type 17 Point allows for quicker starting, especially in denser woods.
