A deep thread wood screw that features a round washer head that is 30% larger than the standard sized head for this diameter, and a type 17 chip cavity, also called an auger point, located at the tip of the screw. Round Washer heads provide larger bearing surfaces than countersunk heads, allowing fastened objects to be pulled tighter together. The extra large head allows for more precise adjustments when aligning multiple drawer fronts to one another. The type 17 point provides clearance for wood chips, allowing for quicker starting, especially in denser woods. Sold here with a Square-Phillips Combo Drive, commonly called a Quadrex drive, that accepts both Phillips and Square bits.
