A deep thread reduced shank wood screw that features a type 17 chip cavity at the tip of the screw, and a Square-Phillips Combo Drive. The deeper threads allow for higher pullout resistance, the chip cavity, also called an auger point or Type 17 Point, allows for quicker starting, especially in denser woods, and the combo drive, also called a Quadrex drive, allows the screw to accept both Phillips and Square bits.
